VMICR 700 ADVANCES IN VETERINARY IMMUNOLOGY.
Current findings and trends in immunology and its application in veterinary medicine.
Credit: 3 units (3 hours a week)
Prerequisite: Consent of Professor

VPH 700. ADVANCED VETERINARY EPIDEMIOLOGY.
Approaches in the designs and implementations of epidemiological investigations; collection and computerization of epidemiological data; statistical analysis and data interpretation; dissemination of information and critical evaluation of published epidemiological research.
Credit: 3 units (3 hours a week)
Prerequisite: VMICR 215

VMED 700 VETERINARY ECONOMICS.
Application of economic theories and concepts in veterinary medicine.
Credit: 2 units (2 hours a week)
Prerequisite: Consent of Professor

VMED 720. VETERINARY INFORMATICS.
Applied computer technology in Veterinary Medicine particularly in research and simulated model as well as data encoding and analysis.
Credit: 2 units (2 weeks)
Prerequisite: Basic Computer Courses (COMSCI 100)

VMED 740 INFECTIOUS DISEASES OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS.
Pathogenesis, epidemiology and current information on infectious diseases of public health and economic significance.

VMED 750. NON-INFECTIOUS DISEASES OF DOMESTIC ANIMALS.
Pathogenesis, epidemiology and current information on non-infectious diseases and public health economic significance.

Current trends in the control of animal diseases.

Exploration and critical review of current scientific literature assigned or chosen topics and presentation of research papers on preventive veterinary medicine.

Independent and original project of a priority problem in preventive veterinary medicine.

Biological, ecological and epidemiological features of microbial and parasitic infections transmissible to man and animal.

VPH 720. FOOD-BORNE DISEASES.
Veterinary public health concern in the production, processing, handling and inspection of animal-derived foods.
