Faculty Members present papers in PVMA

Four CLSU CVSM faculty members presented their researches during the 84th Philippine Veterinary Medicine Association (PVMA) Convention and Scientific Conference last February 21-24, 2017 held at Baguio City Country Cub.
Dr. Virginia M. Venturina presented her research entitled "Prevalence of Parasites of Stray Cats (Felis catus) in Selected Wet Markets in Nueva Ecija";

Dr. Clarissa Yvonne J. Domingo presented two of her researches and these are "Detection of Salmonella in Raw Pork Meat and Eggs Sold in the Wet Markets in Nueva Ecija" and "Cryptosporidiosis, a Zoonotic Infection, Among Domestic Pigs in the Philippines".

Meanwhile, the study entitled "Detection of Quinolone Resistance Gene in Mycobacterium sp. from Human, Bubaline and Avian" was presented by Dr. Gemerlyn Garcia and "Prevalence and Antibiotic Sensitivity of Salmonella spp Isolated from Chicken Eggs collected in Wet Market and Farms in Nueva Ecija" was the research topic presented by Dr. Jaypee A. Abenoja at the Public Health Session.---JPAbenoja and DFPCastro
