The Code of Good Animal Husbandry Practices (GAHP), which was developed by the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Product Standards (BAFPS) and a multi-stakeholders Technical Working Group, sets out the general principles of good practice and minimum requirements for backyard and commercial farms raising food animals for food use. The GAHP certification system aims to ensure the production of good quality and safe food from food-producing animals. -Fely V. Manaois II, CVSM
